About the event
he ZORA! Festival is an annual cultural celebration honoring the life, work, and impact of Zora Neale Hurston—one of the most influential Black writers and thinkers in American history. Hosted in historic Eatonville (one of the first incorporated Black towns in the U.S.), the festival features a mix of free and ticketed events including:
• Family-friendly storytelling• Author talks & readings• Cultural performances• Art exhibits• Youth activities & educational programming• Community celebrations & parades
