Halloween Around Orlando: Kid-Friendly Events & Trunk-or-Treats

Hey mamas! It’s officially that spooky-sweet time of year when the kids are bouncing off the walls from all the candy hype, and we’re juggling costumes, schoolwork, and fall fun. If you’re anything like me, you want to celebrate the season without the chaos just good, wholesome, family memories.

So, I rounded up some of the best kid-friendly Halloween events happening right here in Orlando, Longwood, and Lake Nona this weekend! Whether you love trunk-or-treats, church festivals, or outdoor movies, there’s something for every family to enjoy.

And of course — don’t forget to download the KnowMomLife Trick-or-Treat Scavenger Hunt to make the night even more fun (and keep the kiddos busy between houses 👀).

Thursday, Halloween Eve – Oct. 30

There aren’t a ton of big events happening Thursday, but that’s okay — it’s the perfect night to get things ready!

Prep Ideas for Tonight:

  • Lay out costumes and do a fun dress rehearsal.

  • Bake something spooky (mummy pizzas or ghost cupcakes are a hit in our house).

  • Watch fun Halloween movies (our favorites are Halloween Town & Mickey's Spooky Halloween)

  • Print your Trick-or-Treat Scavenger Hunt and clip it to a clipboard for tomorrow’s adventures.

  • Share your costume sneak peeks in our KnowMomLife Facebook Group — we’d love to see what your little pumpkins are wearing this year!
